Official Vegas trip thread

Giving this trip a thread of it's own.

July 16-18 is the current proposed date but this is flexible.

List so far:

1. KarmaMag- Mandalay
2. failsafe- Mandalay or MGM
3. Yobri- ???
4. Z-INCOGNITO- Rio

If you're interested add you name to the list and preferred hotel. Most of us plan on flying but it's up to you if you want to drive. We may also want to check with the SoCal crew to see if some of them want to meet up. I know many of them are always down for a Vegas run.

at Dave's response. No "dead guy" impersonations in the sports book at MGM. Besides that's what the airport is for.

That reminds me of an incident that happened to me in Vegas also...

I flew into Vegas one time at like 11:45pm or so at night... my reservation wasn't until the next day and the front desk clerks at Bellagio said try around 7am, to see if there's any early check outs... so i had like 7 hours to kill... played a bit of CRAPS and Carribean Stud... I got sleepy around 4am or so

... so i was at Mandalay & i saw sn area with some couches... so i was resting and i guess i fell asleep... then a tap on my shoulder.... and when i opened my eyes... 3 Security guys were surrounding me... tellin me to get up & get out...

That's y i dont like Mandalay...

LOL... last year i went to vegas a lot for work, and i talked to a lot of taxi drivers... taxi drivers make a lot of dough taking ppl to the Ranch.... they get commission for their referrals...

especially if their referrals get happy endings...

I've got a better idea- If we can get 10-12 of us together- We can get a suite at MGM for about $420/night. We did this for my bachelor party- 270 degree view of Vegas on the 25th floor. Only 2Bed, 2 Bath but it has a huge living room and a kitchen. It's probably 1000-1200 sq ft. There were 12 of us in the room and we were not at all cramped. Just an idea. If some of you want/need more privacy I understand- I just need a place to change clothes and put my luggage.

Chicken Ranch is actually not close to the strip... (not that i've been there... but the taxi drivers tell me its about 30 mins from the strip) ... its where all the brothels are... www.chickenranchbrothel.com
