Hey all, I'm Adam and I've been lurking around for a couple months, I figured I'd officially introduce myself. (Warning, this is probably the longest intro you'll ever read. )

I bought a new 2004 SB Enthusiast on Sept. 23 from Dirito Bros Concord. They were great, I went with them because I work for a company that has Nissan as a customer and we get a discount (2.87% off of invoice, plus delivery, tax, etc), and they were the only ones with the SB I wanted. Contrary to other's experiences, I test drove a DB 2004 Base at Steven's Creek and thought they were pretty nice. Of course I didn't get to the haggling stage with them so *shrug*.

I live in Los Gatos and commute to Sunnyvale, I see 2 different CS Zs often (1 that comes up Pruneridge to Lawrence, 1 that works on the corner of Lawrence and Arques). Someone also has a CS in The Commons in Campbell, let me know if it's any of you.

I'm a Web Developer (Sr., even), so naturally I have a bunch of photos online, check out http://www.adamlyon.com/gallery/WaxedZ_2004-11-06 and http://www.adamlyon.com/gallery/Nissan350Z.

The only mods I've undertaken are a S2000 antenna, black license plate and frame and the famed custom Z radar detector mount. I also bought a bra for long drives, haven't had a chance to use it yet (though I already have a bunch of chips from rocks on 280 ). I'll be putting in a stereo and Neo MP3 player soon as well, but that's probably as extensive as it'll get in the near term. I'm avoiding putting my new license plate on, it looks so good with the black one.

To top it all off, my wife and I bought a 2005 Nissan Quest today (the VPP discount I get is too good to pass up) from Falore in Sunnyvale, they were alright.

Anyhow, I hope to make it to a meet some time.

longbowe, once you get used to the Johnny Cab (from Total Recall) everything-in-the-center dashboard, it's great. I have to say that it's the best looking minivan out there right now, and the ride is very smooth. I wish I could give you a better review but my wife relegates me to the passenger seat (much like I do to her in my Z)...

 

wassup everyone, i go by kaybee, i picked up a 2004 super black 350z enthusiast 6-speed. i bought it september 2, 2004 from vallejo nissan. well, by the name, i am with trapspeed which is a group of friends in the East/South Bay Area, but i travel all over the bay and beyond so yea. As of right now, my car is stock and has a dyno baseline test done already thanks to Racetune Engineering (http://racetune.net) and just to let you know we will be making a custom intake and such for the rsx on my car for a test fit, and tell you the results when we are accomplished. also I'd like to meet some of you guys sometime and talk about what a 350z is capable of doing from your thoughts and prospective. and yes i do have a dyno sheet of my stock baseline. I will try to get my mechanic to post it up on his sight asap. well yea, thats it,

hey you guys!!! mi names ross n i got a z thats cummin along.. ive only had it for 6 months now n dropped about 10 grand of mi own dinero on teh car.. on top of 500 dollar car payments... ouch!!!! lol

Did you get a name of the person that you spoke with that night? Color of the Z and mods, perhaps?

No big meet (like the TI one) is planned yet, but something in the near future is definitely on the agenda. You'd be the first yellow Z at a NorCal meet for sure

his name was marc n it was a silver one.. mostly stock... but said he went out to treasure island... n yea.... as soon as i got it painted i made sure to post on 350z online being teh first yellow west coast z... teh only otehr one i know of is teh axis z... or that i know of form media coverage!!!.. only two weeks after it was painted i walked into nissan of concord n saw teh poster of a yellow z..

i was heartbroken!!!
