LOS ANGELES - A speeding car was sheared in half Monday when it slammed into the corner of a building, killing a 51-year-old pedestrian and the two men inside, officials said.
The man was struck about 3:15 a.m. in the West Los Angeles area by a 2004 Nissan 350Z traveling at speeds well beyond the street's 35 mph limit, police said.
The driver of the car, 22-year-old Jeff Domond of Claremont, and his passenger, Marvin Washington, 21, of Walnut, were ejected from the vehicle.
All three men were pronounced dead at the scene.
The name of the pedestrian was withheld pending notification of relatives, the coroner's office said.
The Nissan struck the corner of a building and was sheared in half. Its front and back ends were found hundreds of yards apart.
The collision was under investigation and authorities were trying to determine if street racing was involved. Witnesses told television news crews they saw the car racing another vehicle which sped away after the crash.

I just went on a saftey ride with one of my techs and decided to take him over to the spot of the crash. They had to be traveling at about 100+ mph. The building they hit has black marks all up against it from where part of the car scraped it. The curb in front of the 7-11 where it also hit looked like it had been hit by a jack hammer. I dont know if any of you haev been down that street, but its a 6 lane street (3 each way) and one of the lanes there are cars parked all up and down the curb. Those guys are supreme idiots for racing down that street. If i was going to race it deffinately wouldnt be down that street. I hope they find the other guys. Supposedly they were driving a BMW. R.I.P.

they should really catch that guy involved. I'm sure he knows all about it, but has no ***** to stand up to admit that he was involved.
