Welcome Sunny.

If you're buying from a dealer try to find out where it came from. Ask them for any history they may have. Always run a Carfax on a used car. Check for uneven tire wear (the dreaded tire feathering). Make sure it has the Volks wheels on it. Look for mods that the previous owner may have done.

sundawg,
I also have an '03 track. The suspension is the same in all 350Z's. regardless of trim level. Definately check the tires for feathering. In fact, just take it to the dealer and they will check it out for free as long as your suspension is stock. After that, have fun with your car and drive carefully. Being 18 and having a new Z can be a deadly combination, so we don't want to read about you in the papers, OK?

That being said, welcome to the club. I drive through Lodi occassionally and I try to roll my windows up and plug my nose while doing so!

Take care,
Steve
