The Genesis Coupe's are a BLAST to drive. Drove my brothers all summer and fell in love with it - had I not gotten a Z I'd easily get a Genesis.

I personally love manual, especially since I moved out of NY a few years ago. The problem is I never keep a car longer than a year or 2 max and my wife is getting sick of it. The only way I was able to convince her to let me get a different car was if it was auto so she can drive it a little.

 

3000lbs? No way. Those things are pigs stock. No way they dropped 5-600 lbs.

 

I know at worst it is in the 3,200 to 3,300 range. I will provide exacts when I get home from work today.

 

My sources tell me 3389 lbs for the Rspec.

 

Maybe you are right but I am seeing the track listed at 3389 and I believe the r-spec is 70 lbs lighter due to some creature comforts having been removed like cruise control, etc.

I saw that but that is the same weight they have the other 3.8 models listed at which is impossible that they are the same weight.

 

on Hyundai's website it says Base / R-Spec / Premium - 3362-3492............R-Spec / Grand Touring / Track - 3433-3563 for M/T.... I don't know which one is accurate because they both say R-spec.
