I wish I could go! But on a good note I am 90% done w/ getting the parts together for my TT install. Going to get the AEM UEGO and AEM boost controller next along w/ an a-pillar gauge pod. My Turbo XS testpipes got here yesterday and my ACT 6 puck clutch and streetlite flywheel is installed and working great. I still need some new rear tires, rubber burns so fast on the Z! I will post up my build list once I get all the parts installed with some dyno numbers.
...not bad for a girl huh?

I just dont know what it is, I am just not super excited about the car. Its nice and all but I dont get that warm and fuzzy when I look at it. It does look great from the sides and rear but I just dont like the front.

finally got to drive a GTR. Over rated. end of story. ive driven multiple 911 turbos and i would take one of those over a GTR anyday. The fact that i could have a stick shift might influence my decision though.

I’m just a fan of its overall styling,
(once a few mods have been added). Not to mention its anticipated overall strength in the motor, that’s if it lives up to its older brothers the R34’s reputation.

Yeah exterior wise cause that 400hp motor it comes with should be alot higher for the price you pay.
In actuality, with the R8 I was impressed when saw it in photos but when I got to see it up close I was not impressed .
As for the GTR it was the exact opposite, I was not a fan of the overall body until seen in person and still.......I put a lip or body kit on it

From: Back to Boca.. Bye O-town
So update on the car and at least a warning to those of you who have aftermarket pulleys...
Ive had mine for over a year. Just recently I would say within the past 4 months I knew my car was leaking oil somewhere.. It was the crank seal...
The crank pulley end up being loose causing it to wobble.. Not good.. All these issues Ive been having lately with sensors and stuff has been that the pulley had caused the crankshaft to mis-align a little from the timing chain and the pin that holds the crank to the pulley is now bent up along with the back of the pulley.
Nissan says I need a new crankshaft... but it didnt walk.. no bearings or metal shavings in the engine. Just the piece the crank pulley bolts onto is damaged a lil. The piece that lines up with the pulley (forgot the term used.. long day already towing the car around) they say is flattened to where they couldnt get the pulley back on the car...
Trying to get a longblock cheap just waiting for this guy to get back from Xmas... Anyways so the part out is on hold until I know for sure if it can be fixed easily or it really needs a new engine/crank...
If you have different pulleys check them out... make sure they arent wobbling lol.. You gotta laugh at **** like this sometimes.

Wow, so it f'ed up the dowel pin on the end of the crankshaft from the pulley wobbling? That I could see from the aftermarket pulley if it doesnt have a tight fit or wasnt put on right. However it wobbling causing the crankshaft and cams to lose times sounds like a stretch. However after working on bmw's for over a year now, I now think anything is possible with a car.
