Default Any 350Z owners free on Sunday the 15th

Just as the title says, anyone free on the 15th, Sunday at about 2:00ish? Some of the G35 members are going to be hanging at one of the stores in the shopping complex behind the Aiea Ford Dealership. Ever since Frank traded in his Z for a S4 and Gary sold his Z (just kidding you two ), we (the 350Z's and G35) havent gotten together in a long time. There are new people here I am sure, so, if you guys have the time and want to say hello to either each other (assuming that you never met each other yet) or to the other G35 "siblings".

Meeting date: May 15th (Sunday)
Meeting time: 2:00PM at Blaisedell Park in Aiea
Roll out time: 2:20-2:30PM
Point of meetup: Behind Cutter Ford in Aiea near to Mat-Co

We will be joining another group there at the shopping center complex at about 3:00PM. I am not too sure if they are going to be heading out for a cruise or not. But if anything maybe drop by to say hello and admire everyone elses cars and "mods".

Just wondering.

The only Z that actually showed up to the location was Albert....and he did not even read this thread.....I called him.

Frank and Aloha350Z came after everyone had left for shave ice. Hey Frank...you gotta come a little earlier. That way I can actually talk to you versus the:

"hey whats up?......Well gotta go, take care. See you around"

conversation. Couldnt even look at your S4 and all..bummer.

With that being said.....what is happening with all of the 808 350Z owners and drivers here? There are so many of them and yet, they refuse to get together and get to know each other. Are they all that lame?? Sorry to sound a little rough, but come on, really......I thought that the 350Z was an enthusiasts car......so where are all the enthusiasts???? There are no gatherings of 350Z's....no group events......no social get togethers....damn..we live on a rock, someone has to know a person with a 350Z..and another friend with a Z...and a cousin...and so on and on. You would figure that the owners would be a little more jazzed about their cars and what it can do and all. For example.....I see more 4 door family sedans and Corollas at the tracks versus a 350Z. I am pretty sure that no 350Z attends SCCA as well. Hell....its a SPORTS CAR people. Even in the Toys for Tots...hell there were more Scion Xb's out there than Z's. And most of them met each other there for the first time.

Okay venting done. Just so sad to see so few 350Z's actually getting together if at all. And when they do get together..its always the same 4-5 people. No one new comes out to see whats going on.

Maybe next time.

PS....let more people in Hawaii know that this forum for 350Z's exists. More people on this forum will increase awareness and perhaps help in bringing them together at times.

Okay David...we allowed you to vent...And you're absolutely right!

Since we don't have anyone who wants to take the lead, most of us just get together with the Z Club of Hawaii. And that's working out fine for us. Since we were at the FHB Auto Show, we got new members signed up for the Z Club of Hawaii. It's easier to build upon an existing membership than trying to start a new one.

Thanks for the invite. We enjoyed the shaved ice!

Dude,

It's good to vent . Well, I'm a little disappointed about the "demise" of the 350Z Club. I thought Fred would have carried on without me, as it was "his" Club .

Anyway, like Stef said, there's always the "Tried and True" Z Club of Hawaii .

Next time, I'll try to get my "Slow" S4 to your events sooner .

I`m always up for a gathering when I`m in town. I send a lot of time on the road, rather I should say sky. Since Feb 15 to today I`ve nearly racked up 75k flyer miles. So yeah I`m up for a meet and greet.

I will be back in town today, currently in Japan. But I will be leaving next sunday for a long trip.

So If any thing is going on from the 16th of august to 9th of september......

I'd show up to a gathering too...given its on a sunday, not too early, and ppl with Z's will really be there. I'm actually glad I didn't show to that last one, I would've been pretty bitter like XLR8SN if I'd have been there and there really weren't Z folks there. not like I can talk though...I didn't show:O

Most of us are off on Sundays. If we meet on a Saturday, I'll make sure to let you know.

Sounds good. I'd like to meet a few fellow Z owners, but working on sunday pretty much knocks that one away. I've seen a few on the road and they don't turn to look. Also seen a few of the younger owners around. No reaction either.
