Default Calling out NE Honolulu hawaii 350Z..

Hi....I dont think my car is all that. just looking for some friendly Highway runs...

My C5 is an A4 with 2.73 gears. It is NA and currently has 370 rwhp...

I would like to run a 350 Z on the freeway (late night/ early morning) from any roll speed the 350Z owner wishes..

Due to my mild power level I would prefer that the 350Z is supercharged or TT'd to ensre a good race..

However I will except a race from any 350Z...

If you beat me I will gladly post up and back you up on your win..It's not like I have a 700rwhp beatse. I KNOW THERE IS A POSSIBLITY THAT I CAN LOOSE....ESPECIALLY AGAINST A TT AT 9 POUNDS OF BOOST..

I just really love racing all types of cars and I am very interested in the out come of this race...

Thanks for any challangers and we can do private PM's of when and where to meet if you wish .

MAHALO AND SEE YOU IN MY REAR VIEW SOON...J/K

If you want to race, do it on a track. Aside from the potential HPD problems, I'd rather not see someone get hurt or killed because of this.

+1

Got too much invested in my car and career to risk being busted or killed on the highway.

That is a lot better than street racing.....Hmmmmm..

Ive ran the 1/4 mile there over 500 times..But have only ran about 20 laps around the actual track during JN track days...

They never took time of our laps...Honestly I didnt even know we had timed events there. pretty interesting IMFO.

Tell me what it consist of...

As far as you calling me out...You can do that..And I have no rebutal..

I have zero suspension/handling mods at this point.

But on the other hand you probaly had to do those mods to equal my stock performance/handleing...

Of course I now assume if you do have those mods your handling should be better than mine..I would hope..

As far as beating stock z06's at the course...

Unlike the quarter mile or Highway rolls..

On a road course the driver is by far the most important mod. I held off a 360 modena track car for 10 plus laps when my car only had 340 rwhp....

He in every single way should have EASILY taken me. Not saying im a good driver..I have hardly any experience and have only taken two driving classes..

Just saying he was a bad one. And making a point.

If we can go one at a time on the track for a time attack session then me and my M3 Buddy will be there on saturday...Weather depending...

Is a helmet and 65$'s the only requirements..

Or are there any classes we have to take prior?

Thanks for any imformation.
And Ill be seeing you in my rear view soon...J/K

No classes, you go there at your own whim. Although there are private classes held by Tom Bryant, Formula Hawaii school instructor. I think it's like $150 per session. A lot of guys have benefited from it. You can get a hold of Tom through www.raceeventshawaii.com. The minimum req is covered shoes, long pants, t-shirt and DOT and/or SNELL approved helmet. the format will be covered during the drivers meeting so be at the gate by 8:00am. Rain or shine...we still run. C'mon now..you're not going to let some rain get in your way...are you?

Bring the kids have them hop in rsky's car . The driver's meeting wont be starting till about 8:30 and the track probably wont go hot till about 9:00...if you leave at 10:00, that leaves you with an hour of practice lapping without the chance of recording your time attack scoring. dunno man, it's a tough call...dont wanna **** off your wife either.

quick question.. That video you have of your 41 lap.. In the beginning you look like you cut the 1/4 short and turn early, and then in the end you go to the end. is the full perimiter the course? or was that a warm up in the start... I guess I'll just have to find out..

That video is of the time attack portion of the day. We'll be running on the short course - The early turn off you're seeing. The part where I missed the turn was on our cool off run, slowing down toward the up coming turn.

BTW, I saw you on Kuakini by Lanakila Elementary, I was waiting at the traffic light

so that everyone knows what video we're talking about:
http://www.superlapseries.com/assets/Video/41.94.wmv
The car's powertrain and drivetrain was completely factory stock other than the rims and tires when I made that run. I suspect I'll be going faster this Saterday - I hope.
