Default Broke front lip...

So it finally happened, broke the lip right in the center, went almost all the way through....car looks naked without the lip now...

I'll fix it next week, hopefully.

FRP looks like an easy fix. Sand and bond it together with some fiberglass. Other than that, the mounting points tore off also, so I need to realign those too. And then of course, refinish in black.

I might as well start chopping up my skirts while I'm at it.

wow, I thought it was CF. I guess b/c it's black. how did it break? I've beat the crap out of the one you sold to me and....well it looks beat to hell but it hasn't broken yet. I've got chips all over the place and the top of the ends are kinda chiped off, but its still ok. also the mounting bolts seem to be either missing or went through the mounting holes. oh well.

Some REALLY steep driveway. I had no real way around. Well, I could have, but that would have meant trying to backout into traffic (going in was no problem) or drive down a sidewalk to the next driveway so i can get a better angle (I sometimes do this, but not in town).

Luckily, the metal mounts pretty much slipped out of the FRP, leaving stress on other parts of the lip and keeping the crack down to one place.

My old veilside (the black one I had) took a huge beating. So has the Hasemi, but everything has its limit i guess.

I should make a mold of the hasemi so I can readily produce another if I destroy it, haha.
