Default dilemma

I have a turbonetics kit ready to be shipped from a vendor in Cal. I also have an install setup for next saturday. So here's the dilemma, a couple of days after my install I leave for a 6 month deployment (i will be in Hi for 1 week at the very beginning, but other than that i wont be back). I really want the TN kit, but i am debating waiting. Just worried if i wait it wont happen later on.
Advice?

What ya need to do is wait. Save your money during the time your gone and when you get back to the TN and throw in some coilovers and sways.

I installed a Turbonetics kit with frienz....
I would wait cause it will be easier to get the missing stuff when u get back recently after you buy the kit..lol... anything with 1000 parts is bound to be missing a couple things...

The install has only a few painfull sections....but u need to be ready for a challenge

HEHE....been playing computer games to save money......works very well...

Kit is doing good long term but how many people in Hawaii really boost a lot u know....plus work is only 2 miles away...I have about 8-9 on the boost scale and all is running 11.0-1...Im running very conservative with the reflash but I know with either Turbonetics stage 1.5 or UTEC, Fuel system upgrade, cams and Meth injection I would be in the upper 400's but Honestly Im gonna hold off for a while cause theres no where to really boost...I have Kuhmo 275's in the rear and brake loose above 5K..lol

The Turbonetics kit is really the daily driver kit...

Untill I move back to the states im just gonna do small things here and there while the 350Z R and D continues.....

BTW what fuel management systems does the Vakaman G35 use???

Oh yea I started stripping my Z...couldnt wait any longer....Trunk gone hehe

I dynoed out at the 7.9 psi @413 but I do not recall the AFR (it was running 10's when I picked her up). Since tinkering arround with the Air meter map on the EU I got it to 12.5-13.0 which is still safe. but I need to work out a nasty spike at 5500-6000 RPM where AFR spikes real quickly then levels back out. Oh yeah running 8.6 right now so I think I way be 430's - 440's the 275's I had spin under acceleration in 4th. Kinda kicked out to the side.

Oh yeah enought OT'ing...

Andy explain to the dealer whats going on and if they are worth a damn they will hold one for you if any thing put like $100 down if you realy know you want it. They will deffinately hold it if they get a deposit.

yeah,
greg from mossyperformance was running a special i think for $5100, which also included a set of pulleys and free shipping. Free shipping is pretty key since other people were gonna charge $200 for shipping. I was going to get the TN kit from Greg with a jwt clutch, flywheel, and shipping for $5600 I think. I was all set, just waiting for him to get back to me about gauges.

Got mines at the same price, free shipping to HI *YAY!*

Yah dude, take your time with gathering parts. I'm in the boat that Mike was in, just collecting odds and ends before I commit to the install. I think I'll end up doing the install myself at my Dad's shop. I'll have to tow the car from his shop to my house because I cant leave it over night - Dealership stalls. Do the suspension first as suggested by Mike. Coilovers, sways, structural bracing, watever, Brakes too if you indulge yourself...just look for guys who's selling their Brembo or BBK systems.

Words of advice:

Do it right the first time.
I highly recommend having Sonics Motorsports doing the install if you should decide to have a shop do your install. At least they'll guide you into the right direction.
