so uhh.. heard cops gone crazy in hawaii and gone hard on recon.. how has that affected the fellow 350z and G community..?

 

i think it depends on where/how you drive. i left for deployment in june and got back in december and there are def alot more cops out now than before i left. i wont speed at all, ok maybe a little, but not on extended parts of the freeway. as far as recon goes, my car isnt too flashy but i do have wheels and suspension and tint and i havent been hit yet, but most of my driving is on the windward side.

I was saying that "we" (as in the whole forum) are back from the crash.

 

in the last couple months its been pretty heavy, but its all that one cycle task force that the governor has made HPD put in place to curb the elderly roadkill. personally I think its all a bunch of political a$$ kissing but whats new. I'm sure this task force is working in waves so I think they've been on a break the last few weeks. haven't seen as much of them.

It's ****ing ridiculous. Half of my damn crew (including me) have been pulled for recon in the past ~2 weeks. One of them got a recon ticket for his stock spoiler and stock suspension. Matter of fact, the day I got pulled (last Friday... if you saw a black Evo pulled on the H1 a bit past the airport, that was me) I saw no less than 12 cars pulled from that section of H1 all the way up the H2.

^wow, sounds like some discrimination/profiling there to me. sucks man. on the bright side I haven't gotten any recon grief thus far. maybe Z's are just immuned to it jk

 

Anyone else know where to get a copy of the Nissan Sport mag? I'd like to get one. Or if someone else can buy a second copy and send me, I'll gladly pay.

 

I used to pick mine up at Borders.

 

The local Borders doesn't carry it.

 

Just get a subscription to it... prolly be the easiest way.
