are you worried about passing? I drove to a place on the outskirts of downtown, i can get the name ifyou want. I have 15%tint and tein s-techs so i was worried, but they passed no probe

 

i also just mounted my front plate with double sided tape and took it off right aftere

 

Yea I got my last checks in wahiawa and dont want to drive far again. I got till the end of this month but it's not like my Z is a daily driver at this moment.

 

yea, theres a place near the DMV in downtown that an ex-cop owns. He will pass you if hes in a good mood. Even if hes in a bad mood, he'll tell you to come the next day to get it. Theres also a place in nimitz, near JN automotives where i work.

 

You may also want to try a place on Ahua St., on the left, about 2 blocks up from Nimitz. The building is surrounded by a concrete wall. Sorry, don't know the name...but there's a auto detailing place there, and just before the used appliance store. My friend gave them her papers and $$ and they gave her the sticker without checking her car. I can't tell you if they do this all the time or if they were busy when she went for her safety check. Worth a try if the others don't work out for you...

There is a place right by sonics that passed my car. Seth set it up. It was when it was first running and wouldnt idel but a few seconds before stalling. I have the S1's and need to get the Vaccuum bypass mod done. Well that when the engine gets back in.

 

Lucky for me my Z wasn't smoking out the pipes when I got my check done..lol
