Default Sendai City Nissan

Just right outside of where I was working for the past two weeks was a Nissan dealership with this in the showroom/euro cafe.

It is indeed, the sex.

if i remember right, it was going for something like 860,000 yen. I think the currency exchange last week was 109 yen to the dollar?

Bah, too lazy to do the math. Just round it out.

i talk to the guys at new city nissan and they gave me a brochure about it, well here are some of the things that i read off of it:

V6 twin turbo powered price: $60,000
V8 non turbo powered price: $80,000

both models and all 2008 Nissan Skyline does not come in manual as a option all Skylines are automatic-paddle shift...(that sucks)

huh v8 non turbo? I think thats the first anyones heard of that. I'm pretty sure they're all v6 twin turbo. Unless Nissan has secretly been developing a new v8 engine no one knows about I doubt a v8 would be more expensive anyway seeing as the v6 makes 475+ hp and no v8 that nissan has currently makes that much.

Also does the brochure say skyline because the new GTR is not called a skyline, its just called GTR so maybe they gave you a brochure about the g37? Altho that doesn't come with either a turbo or a v8, but maybe its different in Japan and I don't know.

Sounds like the guys at Nissan haven't been educated on their own product since the speculation over the engine formats a year ago.

All GT-R's will carry the same engine. I do believe the differences between them are fairly more aesthetic then anything else.

thats right! didnt think to check if the brochure said "Skyline" or not. it may be labeled exactly like the US edition, if it is truly the global platform nissan is marketing it as.
