Anyone enter their car? I just got the email saying my car was selected. Anyone else going to be in it and wanna roll in together?

 

I was in that show last year, and it was a good time. I was the only Z there till I made some phone calls and got Jeff and Joe there. We also happened to meet Justin and Tiffany. I think its a great event for the club, and to hopefully get a track built. At least keep the "spirit runs" to a minimum and put them somewhere its more "legal". Thats just my $.02

 

I'm on the fence about this. I have some issues with the whole concept of the show.

 

yeah...we had fun last year. Only three Zs and that was because Jay called and Jeff just so happen to be there. This would be another good event for the Zs to show. Last year it wasn't a contest type of event but more of show of support for the cause. It was a good show, events and food! here is some links for more info if entering:

The roadster will make her appearance in this one. I gotta hit up atleast one show before heading off to do big things in Cali...

 

Hey, I just heard from the chairman that the deadline was yesterday. You may can still enter if you call him. Its amazing how the word gets out on this forum only at the last minute or when its too late.

 

i think there was a post about this on here a few months ago. that's when i heard about it and entered.

My car is pretty much stock but im down if its not too late, if not I will be there to support

 

unless you recently got a new car, your car is not pretty much stock jorge, your car is awesome!

 

Hit the website and email or call mike the chairman, there may still be room if you really down to show. Also, there is a link to register for the 4 July show, I just entered for that one. Last year it was a blast also.

If anyone could do me a favor and take pics of the ladies all lined up next to each other at this show, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm really curious to see how the roadster(yes you Steve) came out. I was also in the 4 July show last year. It was a good time from what I can remember.(The beer vendor was 30ft from our cars) But wish I could be there to help. Damn I hate this **** hole of a sand box!

As far as the 4th of July carshow, Im down, but it was hella HOT last year, I know that can't be helped, but that was the only downside.
On a more positive note we had a bunch of Z's out representin and two of our very own placed.
So I hope to see all you ballers come out and show what you got. We have a few new members since last years show, and a lot of you guys are out there doing big things with Z, Turbo, BBK, Body Kits, rims, etc. Hope you guys all come out and come correct. Lets make this 4th of July show a Z show

Damn, I wish I was already in Hawaii, I would go to this show for sure. I will go next year if they have it. Where do you find out that its going on so that you can register?

Just this past weekend, I went to what we have here on the east coast called ZDAYS, its where clubs from all over the country come and meet in the mountains of NC have lots of events going on and when you want we go and it up the Tail of the Dragon. 311 turns in 11 miles down a mountain. LOTS OF FUN.

Is there anything like this in HI where you can go for a great cruise in the mountains. I realize that there not as big, but I remember driving through a tunnel when i was there, i didnt go around the whole mountain though.

If we can get a good parking location and they allow tents, I have a 10x14 pop-up tent we could use.

 

We have a few curvy roads out here but we don't play "follow the leader" Lets just say we're popping out into the other lanes touge style. Its pretty intense if you're not used to driving hard around blind spots. Other than that, full island cruises are always fun; as for the tunnel you're probably referring to H3 (1 mile straight away tunnel)

 

On the dragon, there are so many damn cars, unless you go late at night or during the crack of dawn your going to run in to traffic. I did get the chance to run all out though.
