4th of July Pearl Harbor Show n Shine
It's be kind of a tradition for the past 2 years that Oahu Z has represented/ held it down at this show.....My question is are we gonna continue this tradition and hold it down again, or is there no interest this year?
The show is about 3 weeks away, but I haven't seen or heard anything about it. I just got back and haven't had the oppurtunity to check on base, but is this show even happening this year?

My apologies guys...I've been so busy with school these last few weeks, I just get to jump on real quick to see whats been going down. I'll talk to Michael about this and see if there is anything special we need to do this year or if its going to be the same as the previous years.

Ok guys, so the last day to register your cars is June 25th, which is this Friday!!
A few things to remember if we plan on doing this show is, once you're parked - you can't leave until the fireworks show is finished which is roughly after 9pm. If you have 4th of July plans at night and expect to do this show...well, don't count on attending. Roll in is usually around 9am-10am. Keep in mind that Pearl Harbor is hosting RIMPAC 2010 and crowds will be in large numbers than what we've seen in previous years (good way to get us some advertisement). This event is judged, so detailed cars IS A MUST (interior & exterior).
Last year we had about 8-10 Z's there from stock to fully modded in which Joe took the overall "Best Import". We usually set up a few large tents in back of our cars and kick back and talk story all day. There's LOTs of food, games and events going on all day so bring your family. You can BYOB if you want, just be responsible.
Let me know if you guys have anymore questions, but we need to make a decision this week if we want to do this. Who wants in??

I registered too, I mean i don't have a Show-stopper, but I think it's gonna be fun to hang out and watch the fireworks, since last year I spent the 4th of July inside a 505 ft steel ship near Bahrain lol

This is ridiculous!!! I can't believe out of everybody in Oahu Z, only 3 guys are planning on entering the show.....I mean I understand for those of you, including myself, whose cars are in the shop at the moment and can't make the show, but whats up with everybody else???
The past couple of years we held this show down!!! Not for coming in first place for best in show, which we did, or for rolling in with heavley modded Z's, but for rolling in hard with 10-12 Z's. Wheres everybody at? Why do we not have more people enetering this show???? Stock or modded you should enter. This is very sad that only 3 Z's will be representing at the show. I know for a fact if my car was ready it would be in this show, hell if car had not been already prepped and pulled apart, I would have entered my Z as is, key marks and all. Come on guys we need more Z's out on Sunday....
