I can't speak for anyone else here, but as for the work that was done on my car by GX Auto I am very happy with the way things turned out. Again I know some of you guys are not happy with GX, but for those of you who have seen MY car, know he did a great job. So MY overall opinion is if your willing to wait then go with GX Auto, they do great work, if you wanna check out my Z to verify work hit me up. Would I go back to GX Auto? Yes, as a matter of fact when they come back my car will be going back in for a final touch before I start working on the motor
As for other shops mentioned
Tech One- They do great work, ex. Joes (Silk), but in my case, when I went to them for a quote I felt he over priced me. He was going to charge me 1000more than GX for less work.....Again great work, but I was not willing to pay what he quoted me.
OP- when it boils down to it, you have to consider many things....
Are you willing to wait, is your Z your daily?
How much are you willing to spend?
Do you want show quality or quick fix/touch up?
How soon are you planning to have this done?

Great advice, hey thanks..

Hmm My budget is between $1000-$2000, I want show quality, It is my daily, but I can get a ride everyday with no problem, I want to have this done before toys for dots this month, so I don't know if I'm gonna have enough time...

Hmmmm

wow....good luck getting a show quality paint job for that price anywhere on this island....not to be mean but just so you know shops here normally charge 1 to 2000 just to paint bodykits not a full paint job......the cheapest you may find a paint job is prob 3000 and even that depends on the condition of your car; dents, rock chips, rust,etc.... are you planning on staying with your original color or do you want a complete color change? It normally comes out 1 to 2000 more for a color change....that also depends on color, pearl, flake,etc....
last thing is for a show quality paint job to be done by nov20 (toys for tots)
your gonna end up paying extra if you want your car to take priority over the other cars already at the shop.....
A lot to consider for show quality work......in MOST cases you get what you pay for

A whole car paint job is around $2000? Damn, I better hop on that. I always wanted to fix all the door dings rock chips and bird **** and my car. Maybe ill also check out techone. And gx auto also, since its a few minutes from my house.

a whole car paint job...isn't $2000...

Jorge meant 2k more on top of any quote for complete color change.

Bro, if that was the case my car would have been boosted already with the money I would have saved on a paint job....
Read my reply again, I said if you want a "whole car" paint job your looking at
3g's, and even at that price it's a MAYBE, because price depends on the current condition of your car and how much repair work the shop will have to do to give you a show quality paint job....If your deciding to change the overall color from what you previously have (assuming OEM color) your looking at an ADDITIONAL 2g's. All in all, if your looking for a full color change budget $5,000, $6,000 if you want pearl

I see i see, thanks for the inputs guys, definitely makes me seriously re-think about this..

I really don't think I'm going to spend 5g's on a paint job when my Z cost only twice that lol. I think I'll check other methods hmm...
