Yeah there are quite a few places to get them. Went to two stores yesterday; Robins in Ala Moana mall and Runners HI over in aiea next to Dixie grill. Check the vibram website for more.
just a note for all USAF thinking of buying these for pt. New AFI says that they are okay to wear for pt if the PTL and sqdrn policy allows it, but they are NOT okay to wear for an actual PT test, and the HPARC is supposed to, by AFI, not allow them. Now that said, I have also heard from several hardcore runners that, they started using them for pt and when the time to eval came, their normal running shoes felt hella heavy, and slowed them down. Not trying to discourage the use of the shoes, just merely throwing out some info for your consideration before buying them. What i've heard of people doing is using them for personal runs, or activities such as those mentioned (beach, hike, kayak) and alternating between those and normal running shoes... Just tryna be helpful, you DON'T wanna end up on FIP, trust me... especially for something small like that
Well been using them for a week now for some walks and a little run and I have to say they are pretty nice. I'm more looking forward to taking them on hikes though. I don't find them suited very well for the concrete. Could just be the type I have though.
