Angry Stuffid safety checks!

Just wanted to know if anyone else is getting frustrated with the new process for safety checks?

I'm trying to get safety for my truck, witch I have gone through the hastle of returning it back to stock, and it's gonna take about an hour and a half!! what the hell man!

Also, if anyone has a place that they go to that's pretty quick and fairly leniate as far as mods go please let me know! Thanks in advance

Well in the past, as far as I remember, most places would just check the car real fast and they never even bother putting it on a lift but now it seems that everyone is getting strict and the car now has to go on a lift and they do a serious check now :/ before it only took about 10min but now it's about an hour wait.

Btw my truck failed cause the tail light lens had a small crack, it still works and I bought the truck like that and had 2 safety checks done before already with it like that . Worst part is that I waited an hour before they told me it failed.

Sorry it's not really a new process, I guess it's just really by-the-book now

I been going to gas stations and each one is about the same.

And yes, I know I can just buy another tail light (which is kinda what I did, I just bought the lenses) but your missing the point. It was like that since I had the truck and it passes safety for three years already! that's why it was a WTF moment.

And yes putting you car on a lift or jacking it up a little to see under the car/truck seems to be normal too now but it really seems to be a case by case basis

Bottom line is that I'm just venting. I'm gonna try get my safety check again tomorrow and we will see what happens

FYI - TONY NISSAN is doing safety for Military for free. Just go on to the website and print off the coupon. I only took it there because I was getting service anyway and if it passed then that was one less thing I had to spend my time on. It passed with my tint and I was good to go. They did however try to get me on wiper blades that I ended up buying anyways.
