GMZ,

I haven't gotten to test alot of pics yet cause im using the 16Mb card that came with it..LOL..
low light pics, came out really good. the flash is pretty strong.
the color effects are cool..(making them black/white with color accents).
Theres a wide screen view mode to catch pics too.
also tried moving my hand around with the ISO800 and picture was clear.
pictures are sharp! still thinking of what is better the SD700 vs. SD630.

will post some pics later this weekend.
do you have a spare charger for the S-series laying around?

Good to hear youre happy with your choice I have an old s230 for my P&S with batt NB-1LH, so idunno about that one. But I have a Dig Rebel so Im content with this 3.2 MP dino for now. Oh! you must get a bigger card! Can you take video clips with it? Not sure about the higher end P&S's. If so and you take them(theyre nice to have for us car guys ) Id get at least a 512 mb card. 1 GB would be best though. It didnt come with a battery charger? Thats wierd theyre supposed to are they not? You could either get a universal battery charger or go with OEM Canon, Id do the latter. Check to make sure you werent supposed to receive one. Id go raise hell where I bought it if I was and didnt get one!

the camera does have video too.Yeah I orderd a 1Gb card from newegg for 27 bucks. thats mad cheap compared to buying one at the store. It did come with charger.

I also have an old S400 model which got water damaged and going to see if it can be fixed. I lost the charger for it though so Im just being cheap to see if anyone around the forum has a spare to sell me for cheap..hehe..
Your charger should work with my S400. they are all the same for the S-series.

The SD700 is abit heavy though and about the same thickness/size as my old S400.
