^little bit dark, but i like the effect.. try lighting it a bit more.

Damn man I dunno what to tell you about that one. Something seems way overdone but I don't know exactly what it is? Could you get a screenshot of what you have your tone mapping settings set to in Photomatix? (If that's what you're using).
Here's a pic I took today of the sweet looking sunset..

okay i see why you cut it off in that one. that house is distracting. but start shooting wide fool! hahaha
just my personal preference atleast. other than that your HDR photos are amazing

It's a great lens for sure, but I was thinking the same thing. I was talking more along the lines of a 10-20 or something similar.

I actually used a 17-85 on that shot.
