Hate to tell you but most of that stuff you won't use for long, if at all. About the only worthwhile item is the memory card. The lens you'll grow to hate once you learn the basics of photography and start looking at lenses that are sharper, better autofocus system, and better built.

Once you're ready to upgrade, take a look at the Tamron 17 50 2.8 or Canon 17 40 4.0L. These two lenses are much sharper and have a better autofocus system than the Sigma 28 80 that you're getting. Plus, they're a constant aperture lens. The Sigma you're getting is probably f 5.6 at 80mm.

Yeah, people learn to work around the kit lens but there are times when you may be in a low light situation and f/5.6 just won't allow for enough light. It saves the hassle of having to switch out to a faster prime at times. Plus, with a larger aperture, you get more background blur so it'll help separate the focal point from the background.
The 50 f/1.8 is a good cheap prime that should be in every budding amateur's arsenal of lenses until they upgrade to a 50 f/1.4 or 85 f/1.8. I usually recommend amateurs to start with a prime since it teaches them how to use their feet to frame a shot rather than relying on a zoom.
