can't wait to get my d300

 

when is it coming?

 

i have not orderedd mine yet.... hopefully in one to 2 months. im thinking of getting it with a 12-24mm nikkor lens or a wide angle lens. i already have a 18-200 VR nikkor lens that i bought for my D40.

 

With those two lenses, you are completely covered....good choices.

Damn, Canon and Nikon gear? The best of both worlds. There are some Nikon VR lenses that Canon don't have... like the macro VR. That 14mm full frame must be something.

 

and in return, Nikon prime doesn't have lots of collection at f/1.2 like Canon.

As of right now, i only use 3 lens on my D3. 14-24 and 24-70 / 70-200VR. While shooting bird and sport, i use Canon Mark III with 300 f/2.8 IS or 500 f/4 IS. Just use the 500IS to shot at the SD zoo yesterday. Quite challenge due to large focal lengh but all the pictures come out pretty good. Worth every cents on the lens.

 

Damn Bubble, them lenses and bodies are not the standard run of the mill "fukc around" types like my gear. I hope you get the most out of 'em.

BTW, how's about donating one of your L's to me. I'm sure you don't give each the proper attention they need

After being in this hobby for a year and a half, I'd have scoffed of the idea of spending $2000+ on a body, and $1000+ on a lens. I may have to later (5D and 70-200F4 is).
