Neither one really captures anything of value, to be honest. For a tight crop, the picture is still busy so there's no central focal point. Are you trying to separate the emblem, the number, headlight, foglight, etc.. ?

If you're trying to focus on some of the smaller details, shoot at a longer focal length with a larger aperture for more compression and more background blur. If you're trying to capture the lines of the vehicle or some other aspect, shoot at a wider angle and frame it differently to capture more than just the front bumper cover.

I have that Burberry wallet in the black check. I love it! I was in Orlando for a few months for BMW technical training, and it was a lot of fun ... Sorta miss some parts of being down there. Nice lightning shot.

Technology wise, it's a very old camera. Any reason you looking to pick that one up?

well i found one locally and its under my $300 budget. Im just looking for the best bang for the buck dslr for around $300. ANother one i found is the olympus E-410 with lenses for $270 used.

im just looking to have a pretty good camera to play around with. Not looking to be a pro but want nice quality pics.

The Canon 20D is going for that price range. It's a better camera than the XT. Try to find one of those. Not sure about the Nikon equivalent.
