Some test shots with new Canon 85mm f1.2 II
I use this Owl for test shots and to ward off woodpeckers. This is shot @ 1.4. I used AF, with focus points on center column of the owl's body. Light PP completed.

This is shot @ 1.2. I used AF, with focus points toward the right eye IIRC. Light PP completed.

Nice pick up with the 85Lii. I thought about it (still am actually) but that new Sigma 85 f/1.4 is tempting. I sold all my lenses off and I'm picking up the 35L and 135L this week and one of the two 85's to round it out. I'm also placing my order for my lighting setup this week. I'm going with an B1600 and B800 with a large PCB octobox and some other modifiers. I'd like to try out the new PLM's but they're all on back order right now. i would've gone Eli but that's way out of my price range for now.

I think i'm going to go with the Eli Quadra's. From what I can tell, they're perfect for what I shoot (on location portraits) and are enough to shoot against the sun at 400ws. I'll probably pick up an RX600 for when I need to really overpower the sun with my taxes.
My 135L came in last night
Here's a mailbox outside and a 100% crop on the 5Dii. I can't believe how sharp this thing is. notice the # on the actual lock! And a shot of our dog Xena at ISO3200 and the 135L wide open. This is my new favorite lens (until my 35L comes in)

Not the best shot, just testing it wide open at high ISO3200

The Quadra is a great system, but can't take the larger modifiers. I'm debating between a Quadra single A kit or another RX600 and battery.
My friend was happy with his Einstein, but the latest rubberband news may have been the last straw for him.
The 135L is a great lens. I prefer it over any other Canon prime under 200mm.

100L arrived yesterday. I traded for it with the intent to sell it, but it's quickly growing on me. Focus is fast, nice colors, very light and sharp.
A shot of my iPhone cause I was bored.

Congrats on the 100L! Does that have a 4 stop IS on it or 2? I thought about picking up the 100 2.8 nonL

This thing is pretty slick. Thinking about getting one for the bedroom.

My buddy is growing his beard out for Blazer tickets so I took a shot of him the other night. I did the typical B&W hoboish edit with a Lucis Art layer and lowere the opacity on that a bit. Noise was added in post just to see how it shows in print compared to real noise. 5dii 135L f/5 bounced flash off the ceiling.

Don't really post too much on other photography forums...
