I finally got around to re-sizing some of mine. I'll try to post some more later.

Nice pics!

Just curious...

What setting would you guys recommend during dim lighted rooms? I went to dinner this weekend with some friends & the pictures were clear towards the folks up front but dark/fuzzy towards the back. How do I adjust it so the whole table is clear & the background is blurred out? Just using the standard EF-S 18-55mm lense on my Canon XT & set it on auto. Also tried the night settings but it came out fuzzy since I didn't have a tripod with me.

To get a shallow DOF, use the lowest aperature. Shoot it in RAW format and on Av mode. You can then use the dial next to the shutter release button to set your aperature. The lowest the kit lens will go is f/4.5.

3 things come into play when taking pictures. ISO, aperature and shutter speed. The higher ISO and lower the aperature, the faster the shutter speed. How steady your hand will determine your shutter speed. If you can't hold steady for 1/60, ISO200 f/5.6, you can change the ISO to 400 or raise the fstop to f/4.5. Play with the settings to get a hang of it.

hey syf0n, do you have larger size of this picture of your car?

I've been wanting to ask you ever since you posted that picture on previous post. I really like that photo. Looks like you used polarizer and I like how the colors came out especially the interior. I want to make it into my wallpaper and was wondering if you had a larger size. If you do, would you plz share with us?. Thanks.
