Quick shot of the new 70-200 f/4L IS with my nifty fifty. I love this lens so far!

Yup, It's funny because I thought I would be content with the T1i and lens kit but the more I look at the shots with the 7D and 5D2, the more I want to get one. The same goes with glass. Basic stuff like composition and angles and proper DOF came easy from looking at the work from you, ctwentytwo and others on here but I'm finding working with OCF's particularly hard to grasp on to.

I primary shoot with my lighting kit now bro. Like 80-90%. You should check out the fashion gallery on my site, every shot in here except 3 was done with off camera lighting. It was done with a 2 set of Elinchrom Quadras. I broke down and got into studio lighting after fiddling with a SB600, 800, and 900. I sold them all to help fund the Elinchroms but it was still pretty pricy. I spent $3400 and I haven't even gotten into the different modifiers yet!

Congrats! I'm going to practice with ocf's tonight on my buddies CBR and will post up the results. I ordered 2x 43" white satin Westcott umbrellas and 2x LumoPro LP633 Umbrella Swivel's on 4/9 but MPEX didn't inform me that the LP633's were temp out of stock and said they should be in any day now..

Alvin- as always, your shoots are inspiring to say the least. I hit a nice bonus this first quarter so I'm looking forward to picking up some more gear.

I sold my T1i and Sigma 10-20mm to pick up a new 5D Mark ii. I'm getting adjusted ot the layout right now and have only taken a few test shots with my 70-200 f/4L IS but so far I love it. The IQ is insane!

It was one or the other for me but after the shoot I had today I'd say it's worth it. I was stunned while I was editing the pics and seeing the diff in IQ was just amazing. do you have a flickr so I could check out your other work?

I've used my ABR800 a few times, but I haven't figured out how to use it too well. It's good to have in the bag though.

I couldn't give up the speed (FPS). 3.9 FPS just doesn't cut it for some things.

I do have a flickr, but I hardly ever use it.

Ughhhh.....Pretty big overhaul in my gear. Got rid of the Sigma 50 f/1.4 and Canon 200 f/2.8L as well as a B1600 and B800. Picked up the 2 X3200s, 2 PCB stripboxes and Kacey Ent BD and accessories. Debating on picking up another Vagabond II or Drobo. Decisions......
