if you never use FF before (1ds mk II or 5D) then you should try out the new 5D mk II. I would buy it in a heart beat if i don't have my 1ds mkIII already. It is almost as a "mini-me" of 1dsk mark III.

You don't use FF for sport purpose so the slow fps shouldn't be the concern in the first place.

I'll have a review for 50D within the next few days since it is scheduled to arrive at my place tomorrow. Can't wait to play with the new toy.

 

I wonder what all the complaining is for. Like you said, the 5D isn't the camera for speed.
