Another first impression by a duo of two top wedding photographers:

The "in" thing now is high ISO, which can:
1) Speed up slow lenses without the noise issues
2) Allow low-light shots not possible before.
Check the link... The first image is incredible
Even the ISO 25600 shot... the noise looks like film grain. A totally usable image.
Hopefully, the 50D's high ISO performance is similar.

the bad thing about this though is it only does 3.5 fps, thats pretty weak. but i think canon was actually gearing this camera towards the field reporter maybe. since it has the HD video and the image quality. but i have no need for one. i'd rather have a 50d over the 5d
