My wife just bought me a brand new 50D in preparation for our son's upcoming birth. (by preparation, she meant "no more buying **** until after january...this is the last big purchase you'll receive for a while).

I haven't really had a time to test out the new camera today, so i went to take various shots around the neighborhood.
All were taken in aV mode, iso 200-400, aperture 4.5-5.6










I took this shot as he was flying away, hence the poor angle.

 

Awesome shots! I have a 20d and was looking to upgrade soon. The 50d looks like a great camera. I like the first shot best.
