Question Anyone have Canon G3?

How do you like it? Is it fast? You have any sample shots you could post? I have been thinking about getting this camera.

Don't own it, but it's a very good pro-sumer level camera.

Lots of options.

Has a built in ND filter.

My girlfriend has one and it takes great pictures. We recently went on vacation and the pics taken on her G3 came out better than the ones I took on my Nikon SLR. I wouldn't mind getting one myself and switching entirely to digital. What's the lowest price you've seen? I think the G4 (5MP) was also released fairly recently for around $799.

There's no G4. It went G1 @3MP, G2 (what I have -- still loving it!) @4MP, G3 @4MP, G5 @5MP. I believe the G5 utilizes the DIGIC processor, but still uses traditional CCD sensors. I don't think I have any full-sized photos I could post on here -- too big!

$399 at digitalliquidators.com but I hear they are scam artists. The cheapest otherwise is in the $460 range. I will pay the higher price as their are no good things said (all bad) at bizrate.com about digitalliquidators.
