Default 350Z - Golden Hour

I just picked up a Canon 17-55mm f/2.8 IS and was itching to try it out so I took the Z for a quick shoot.

The rest can be found on flickr at:

NismoTuner21, haven't been to any SFZCC meets but I might have to soon. I've had the car since 2003...and finally put pics up only a month or so ago...haha

HKYStormFront, how do you like the 16-35? I was thinking about getting that instead of the 17-55 but its more $$$ and doesn't have IS right?

well i got the mk1 version (it's now the "16-35 f/2.8 L II") but there was a couple reasons for that, one was that i got it for much less than $1k and it's 77mm filter size instead 82 like the new one so it fit all the filters i've already got. having said that, it's a bit distorted at the edges but not enough to bother me, its wide angle, i want it to look distorted lol. i don't see why i would need IS on a lens that only goes 35mm. would like to have IS on my 70-200 tho...

HKYStormFront, FF for me one day...just not quite yet....

I agree, you really don't need IS on a wide lens, it doesn't make much difference....
