^Nice!

This little gem came in today Not the $1500 ultra wide-angle but at $650 it's a pretty lovely lens that's still affordable.

Nikon's Nikkor AF-S 18-35mm f3.5-4.5

Solid shot. Amuse sticker? Amuse exhaust (can't really see it)?

^ Thanks bro! It is an Amuse exhaust. I also have the Amuse titan intake pipe. You can see the exhaust pic in my avatar. Wish I took the car outside to take a picture but I was too lazy...lol just wanted to get a shot of the car to see how wide this lens go on an FX.

Here's my newest addition to the portfolio: Interior Photography

how you like that lens really? im looking to go D700 soon and im not sure if i should keep the d90 and sigma 10-20 for rig shots or sell both and get a nice lens to dangle my d700 at the end of a pole ROFL

I think it's pretty hard to say because the d90 is much much lighter and can dangle off a pole easier than the d700. I really like this lens so far though and it's very sharp. I think ultimately I have been deciding between keeping this 18-35mm f3.5-4.5, 50mm f1.4, and my 80-200 f2.8 or sell them all and get one single 24-70mm f2.8 - or just sell the 50mm f1.4 and get a used 35-70mm f2.8 but it's hard to decide. The 50mm f1.4 is SUPER sharp! But I need the 24-70mm so I can have the wide end and the zoom end for event / wedding photographer....someone wanna give me $1800 for the 24-70mm ?

On another note I was testing a 14-24mm f2.8 today and HOLY **** it's NICE! Super wide and super sharp wide open! My D700 need that lens - I will get one some day!

Dream lens list:

14-24mm f2.8 ~ $2,000
24-70mm f2.8 ~ $1800
70-200mm f2.8 ~ $2,000

Alvin,

looks like you sell all of the junk (tamron, sigma) lens and go for the real PRO lens now eh? Welcome to the dark side.

if you're thinking about using 14-24 for wedding, i would suggest using 17-35. I sold my 14-24 for 17-35. 14 is too wide when you taking picture of the couple greeting (and getting the red envelope) at the table. It makes the view distort.

i think i posted this image before but what the heck. hehehe

14mm f/2.8
50mm f/1.4
60mm f/2.8 N Macro
85mm f/1.4
135mm f/2 DC
180mm f/2.8D
17-35mm f/2.8
24-70mm f/2.8

missing from that line up is my 105mm f/2 DC (send to nikon for annual clean up)

and my big boy. (700-200, 400VR, 600VR)

and 2 D3 bodies. That it.

Have a D80 and just ordered a D90 yesterday. Starting to get into wedding photography.

I do a lot of sport photography but don't really read up on anything on how to shoot and so forth. Does anyone have any idea where I can get a lens that is able to take real fast photos. Or am I better off getting a better camera? Any help appreciated.

I know the basics of photography, just starting to get more into it and have a few questions. Thanks in advance!

hands down, the entry level Nikon D40. Best starter camera. Very easy to use, take great pics and very lightweight for her to carry around everywhere to take any pics at any moment notice
