That makes sense. For you 5D can you adjust your max ISO under Custom Settings? or mabye sell the 5D, not buy the 7D, and save for 1DS. I'm sure that has the max ISO and burst you need while keeping with FF.

true but the 1ds is way too heavy for rig shots of cars which i am hoping to get into soon. 5Ds max ISO is 3200 and its a little grainy but i can still use it for the newspaper, from what i have seen so far the 7Ds 6400 will be usable as well

^ Just to clarify, this is the EF 70-200mm F2.8 L IS II USM lens. I have the first version, and it's flippin awesome. I can't believe a "better" version of this lens.

Newish T1i owner and loving eveyr minute of it. Right now I have the kit lens and the nifty fifty. I'm ordering my tripod and head next week along with Canon EF-S 55-250 f/4-5.6 IS "nifty two-fifty" and eventually some sort of fisheye.. Here's a few more pics from the other day

No tripod so the waterfall pics for the most part didn't come out to what I wanted but made the best with what I had.

Thanks! I'm going back for seconds after I order my tripod in 2 weeks.. I took the fifty and shot my friends collection although he was quite pissed when I called them "action figures". Sorry they're a little big but I didn't have time to resize them..

No kidding. I was surprised by the quality of the image. I spent hours looking through the "nifty fifty" thread on POTN and those basically made up my mind. It's also very user friendly out of the box and even though the lens itself is a bit cheap, I'm happy with it and so far is the best bang for the buck when it comes to lenses. I feel no need to even upgrade to the f/1.4 anytime soon. I will also be picking up the 55-250 f/4-5.6 IS when I pick up the tripod.
