Question Please recommend a good tripod for a video slider

I just bought a DSLR video slider and need a good, sturdy tripod to hold the slider and my Canon 60D. I don't know too much about tripods so I thought I'd ask the pros here. My budget is about $130 for the tripod and I want something that comes with a good fluid head for smooth panning. My friend recommended this head

There are a few tripods on Amazon that come with that head included, but all the reviews on the tripod are pretty bad. Customers like the head, but not the tripod itself. I browsed B&H a little bit and found this. Is this something that could work with my slider?

Please let me know if you have any recommendations. Thanks!

By the way, here's the slider I bought.

I highly recommend saving more money and investing in a better tripod. You're trusting a $100 tripod to support over $1k of gear? That's not a wise decision.

I can't comment on anything in your price range, but agree with above in saving a bit more for the sake of your gear. I have a Manfrotto 055XPROB and though it's not the lightest by any means, but it is very strong and sturdy.

Well while I'll be using my video slider, I will have my hands on the camera the entire time. So I'll be very careful with my equipment and make sure nothing happens. I think I have it narrowed down to these 2 items.

My Konova video slider arrived today. I can't wait to test it out
