I'm using a Nikon D90 body and most of my shots are taken with a Tamron 70-200mm ƒ2.8 lens... if I'm doing rolling shots or rig shots, I use my Tokina 12-24mm ƒ4 wideangle lens. I have a few more lenses buy they don't fit my style of shooting that well haha.
That's nice man! This is my first Z and I definitely love it... it's a driver's car for sure. Handles better than anything else I've driven before. You didn't like the M3? Those are some clean cars, especially E46 (one of my favorite years).
Thanks man! Add me on flickr if you have one (flickr.com/photos/iggypod).

I shoot with a 18-200mm f3.5-6.3 < need to replace that.
I also shoot with the 18-55 VR that came with the camera.
I def need to get the 70-200mm f2.8 and I need a wideangle too.
Yeah love the Z the way it drives and handles.
I dont know something about the M3 It was def quicker but i didnt like the handling as much as the Z. So i drove the M3 for about 7 months and sold it.
I ended up getting another 350z. M3 was Imola Red and it was super clean not a swirl mark on it.
^ Yes, I highly recommend a 70-200mm ƒ2.8 lens for automotive (preferably a Nikkor VRI or VRII).
Makes sense though... I came from a Subaru WRX. It was by far the fastest car I've owned, it was making a little over 300whp after I was done with it. But didn't handle as well as the Z... but it was definitely fun in the snow
Here's a quick pic of it:

Then I got a Lexus IS250 AWD... but absolutely hated the automatic/paddle shift transmission. It also handled like crap and was extremely underpowered... So I sold it and got a Z. Here's a quick pic of the Lexus:

Cool, well I don't drive the Z much because I have 2 little ones and my car is registered as a non-op. I have a stockish 05 SB Base Z. I will look for your Z rolling around in Rancho. I won't be living here long because I am moving to Cincinnati OH in December, but look for Fontana Nissan's car meets in the near future. They are very fun events and the dealership is one of the best in the area.
BUMP!!!

So I went out to shoot my car in LA yesterday. My goal was to capture the car right after sunset. I've gotten a few shots and then it became really dark really quick. So I stayed out for a little bit and decided to grab a few night shots, might as well I'm already there. I took this shot with a train passing by a few feet away from my car (hence the title).
