Default Work S1s...in technicolor?

Thanks jimster716 for your pictures that I stole for this photoshop

I'm really leaning towards Work S1s on my black 04, but holy christ is that a popular choice. Was thinking of ways to spice up a tried-and-true wheel, so why not go bold and paint the stupid thing bright red? I know my photoshops look sort of anodized, but I was just doing it to get the idea--and frankly, black is a damn hard color to work with

So what do you think? Looks fantastic, or fantastically ugly? Be as mean as you want, just a photoshop, you aren't going to hurt my feelings That being said, I think I may do this anyway regardless of any opinions posted. I was surprised at how attractive it was when I did it, and every time I look at it again, I like it more and more. Not much left anymore that really qualifies as "different", so what the hell.

Personally, the only way I think this could be pulled off is with a high-end wheel like this, and with a more neutral-colored car (namely black or white). Red hubcaps on a black Cavaqueer wouldn't exactly have the same effect.

hmmm.....interesting idea.....i think a darker red would look better. I'm thinking almost the color of the taillights in that 2nd photo....

If it were my black car and i didn't want black wheels....I would shoot for the gold center

I hate gold and bronze with a passion...plus, I am seeing that almost as often as I see black. But thanks for the op, regardless!
