hey guys
anyone thats good with photoshop can you help me

i have a really simple project (simple for you) that i need to have done for my computer class

i will attach the image

the project says to use 4 different PS tools...so i suppose to can
1. erase
2.change color
3. add text
4.??

reason i asked for zig zag is cause he did an amazing PS of my car...

...i suppose a good idea might be to make the picture an add for a telephone company??

the assignment is to take a pic that pertains to my major (business)

You were supposed to have taken that picture? Its got some pretty advanced foreground/background focusing on it so I'd be careful if you're trying to pass it off as your own.

This is, of course, unless you actually took it, in which case I say good work.

Use the text tool, the blur tool, maybe the dodge or burn tool and the spraypaint tool to do touch ups. Or were you asking for one of us to do your project for you?

Lots of different ways to learn, the best way to get past simply learning the tools and on to being good at using those tools is experience. Lots and lots of practice.

I'm a senior in graphics design and I do freelance work on the side so I've learned first from tinkering with it on my own, then classes and projects along with assorted books.

Get a Photoshop basics book or the Quick Start guide, then start doing every tutorial you can get your hands on.

www.good-tutorials.com is a good tutorial resource.

Just between me an you....and the 234892734 other people on this forum.

Use the blur tool on the books on the bottom right corner.

Use the text tool for the SBC text.

Use the rectangle shape tool for the bar behind the SBC and the squares in the bottom left hand corner. (Opacity change in layers palette to give it transparency)

Use the burn tool on the desk to make it a darker shade.

Tell your your Dad's office's graphic design team I'm available if they need any work done.
