Your wiring is fine (or else the two step / speed shift wouldn't work at all). Also, from the sounds of it, your programming it correctly. There really isn't much point in troubleshooting it though, as we've made substantial upgrades and won't offer any support for the software/hardware the original testers got (we'll just replace all the modules with the new design).

yeah. what i meant was if i have some problem with the new module ill need to check my stuff. i stopped messing around with the old one when you said you were gonna send a new version, lol. in all honesty, even if that 2-step RPM was my final choice it would be ok. im launching on street tires so 3800 is a bit high but with a little careful clutch use ive been able to launch ok even on the street. the track should be a blast tomorrow

I should have the fuel cut hooked up and working by the end of the day. I found the fuel injector power supply wire last night and spliced in to it. It's not in the most convenient location - the back middle of the motor. I was able to unplug it, cut the wire, and solder the two bypass wires to it without taking anything apart though, so that was kind of nice - there just isn't much room to work back there at all. I think if you take the throttle body and intake off it would be much easier to splice. As of right now I have the new bypass wires running in to the battery area ready to go in to the cabin. Once they are inside I'll simply have to install a second KPtechnologies Hybrid Relay and I'll have safe, isolated control over both the fuel cut and the ignition cut.

To my knowledge no other add-on two step module on the market can safely cut both fuel and spark on the VQ35 platform.

I never got shipping confirmation that the circuit boards actually shipped but the company is really good about getting boards out on time so I am still expecting them here early next week.

at the track my WBO2 was showing fuel cut during the speed shift. im not sure why it would be that way cause that makes absolutely no sense to me since the injectors should still be firing i though, but it was showing full lean like it does when you hit the revlimit (fuel cut) so

PS: even with that 3800 launch on street tires, i hooked up great and really consistently. i think every 60' was within .05 of the others. speed shift worked pretty well too, but my 3rd is f'ed and impossible to get into so i didnt get any clean passes

hooper: Cuase the iginition is being cut, nothing is being ignited and hence no wideband reading.

3rd is a killer in my car too.

but the air fuel ratio is the same, regardless of whether or not it burns. doesnt really matter, just had me thinking

Hooper, the lambda sensor can only read air/fuel ratio. It cannot read raw fuel. WIthout combustion, its simply air going in the intake and out the exhaust values with some fuel. If you dont understand this, go read up on google.

this is why sensors can never be good enough. since the true a/f is probly still the 13.x it was before. o well, not like i was gonna tune for that part of the graph anyway.

The plan is to finish testing everything tomorrow.

We changed a bunch of things yet again to enhance the performance of the module. Our latest change greatly increases the resolution of each revolution giving us more control of the motor. I worked the last bug out tonight and it's working perfect on the test bench. Tomorrow I'll put it in both of my Gs and see how it works! Then, on to the local SRT4 that has been helping me out to make sure it works there.

I got it all working yesterday, but I'm not too impressed with the fuel cut. There is too much overlap on a V6 to accurately cut both fuel and spark on a single cylinder without affecting other cylinders. The "fix" for this would be to add seperate fuel and spark cut outputs. This isn't a big deal, but will delay how long it will take before the full featured version is available.

The ignition cut by itself is ready and works great. I have 5 of them available for $74.99 if anyone is interested - this would be for the speed shift and two step features with hardware for ignition cut. If you are catless or don't plan on two stepping very often this module would work great - if you want fuel cut it will be a few more weeks as we need to have some new boards made (round 3!) and update the software (round 4!).

As of right now there are NO known bugs in the module.
It is fully programmable -
1. Clutch Status (12vdc up or 12vdc down)
2. WOT voltage (programmable from 2.5 - 5.0 vdc)
3. Cylinder select - 4, 6, or 8 with the ability for us to easily add custom profiles for different motors (as needed, current 4 cylinder program works great with SRT4 (with fuel and spark cut) and with Nissan/Infiniti VQ35 (spark cut only))
4. Two Step RPM - programmable to ANY RPM without touching the module
5. Speed Shift delay time (25ms-500ms)

I still need to finish up on the installation documentation and need to get the latest boards out to the test people.

QuadCam, shoot me your shipping info and I'll get one of these out to you along with the Brake Bypass module that I worked on.

We still have these available if anyone is interested.

Lookin for an update!

Wonderin if you were lookin for testers still. I would need the Fuel cut though, since I am running a stock 350Z, and am looking mainly for the 2 step.

Our current hardware won't do fuel cut. If there is enough interest we can develop a new board that has seperate spark and fuel cut outputs, but right now there is too much overlap on a 6 cylinder motor to cut both fuel and spark with one output.

We arn't currently looking for testers and these modules will start shipping this week (actually today I do believe). I still need to update the beta testers to get them the "final" hardware and firmware. If you were a beta tester shoot me a PM and I'll send you a new box out!
