I bet if your issue had been resolved like you wanted the first (or third) time you wouldn't be as upset as you are now.
You do need a hug!
Sorry. My Bad.

Just wondering about the wastegate relocation as well. On my t-type, I converted it from the internal wastegate to the external deltagate and tapped the cross pipe between the exhaust manifolds.
Found here:

I never had any overboosting while having an open exhaust either. I would boost it between 18psi on pump 92 and 20psi on race gas C16.
Would this work for the TN kit? I'd love to try it out on my kit, only if TN could spare me a new Crosspipe.
On the white smoke issue. My car was already blowing white smoke before the TN install. So it's has to be the rings. The TN kit never made it better or worse. Just saving money to get me that Cosworth shortblock.

High Boost isnt the problem that DeltaGate was prolly fine to open at 18psi, the less boost you run the more exhaust that needs to go through the WG so smaller gates and design has to be incorperated to insure boost levels are solid at low boost of 8-9psi

I haven't had my car for over a year now!
Taurran, You should really reconsider going the twin route. I am having my GTK 650 installed currently and it has been a very difficult install to say the least. I should have it completed and tunned with in the next couple weeks and I'll keep you posted. Function Tunned is doing a great job and all I have is good things to say about them. If you choose to still go with the ST and use the Turbonetics piping instead of the APS, good luck with the down pipe.

Sorry to come late to the party guys ( I did read some of the posts ) but being as that I am at a point where I am putting my turbo back on, I wanted to let everyone know my experience in regards to this thread.
When My turbo was on, under hard acceleration, my car would apparently spew out black smoke similar to a diesel pick-up truck taking off. I hoped it had nothing to do with compression or lack thereof (such as bad or broken rings- car had ~56,000 miles when the turbo was taken off) but this talk about bad seals and all on the turbo is worrying me.
Taurran, if you don't think it is the turbo housing or seals that are causing the leak, what do you think it may be (sorry if you already posted your theory, I know you wrote about possible oil\gunk being in the exhaust).
Worst case scenario, if I do need to replace the turbo, it seems that the labor to do so would be quite minimal, no?
