The corrosive nature hopefully has been addressed?

Here is a tidbit from reading more on it (the part about the fuel system not relevent as this is being injected downstream, but the engine durability issue, well, would still be an issue I would think):

Methanol is more corrosive than gasoline (though it is less toxic, and not carcinogenic); this is why an automaker needs to change some of the materials in the fuel-handling systems of both the vehicle and the refueling station to materials that can withstand attack by the fuel. Special oil additives are necessary in order to protect the engine. Also, because the mixture of air to fuel is much richer than gasoline (about 8 to 1 by weight, compared to about 14 to 1 for gasoline), there is more liquid fuel available to wash oil off of cylinder walls during a cold start. Some early methanol users experienced durability problems, but development work has been making steady progress.
EDIT: Looking around the web, looks like there are oil additives and oil blends designed for "alternative fuels", including methanol. Hard to tell the "snake oil" from the real stuff though...

Good question Bullseye. Methanol has a tendancy to eat away at all things rubber. So in terms of engine internals, valves, combustion chamber, you are all good there. I would keep an eye on the injector o-rings from time to time, as they may weaken after a long period of time. That said, there are hundreds of people using methanol injection across many many platforms, I can't recall anyone reporting that their injector o-rings had failed. But either way, its a valid point, and something to check on from time to time.

We are up to 620whp'ish on BamBam's stroker with pure 93 pump and just 14psi boost. The stroker is even nuttier!

I just need to end your vid, and I will get it by very shortly.

This particular kit doesnt have clog detection, so I advised To change out his nozzle every 3 months, just to be 100% safe.

In regards to air inlet temps, not only is the temp ramp up decreased during the dyno pull, the inlet temps return to near ambient within 7-8 seconds. So heat soat is virtually nill.

How does the F-con triggering system work. Does it just have a 5V input that receives a signal from the Meth kit to tell the F-con when the pump is running?

Which Stroker kit is installed? What is the estimate for installation on a Stroker kit?

Yea I would like to know that too and if it can be done with the UTEC.. I am probably going to switch to the FCon down the road, but would like to have this kit installed soon..

I think I read this before about utec controlling the meth injection

but u could always just tune a utec map when u run the injection

UTEC has a spare solenoid driver that can (I believe) have its own map.

It does have a spare solenoid, but I "thought" it was for activating nitrous or meth at a particular point. There is no submapping that I am aware of, but please correct me if I am wrong.

And since the parameters apply to all of the maps, I dont think you could make a map that would specifically trigger with meth. However, you could certainly create a dedicated meth map, and just switch to when you are ready to use meth, and let the meth controller run the show.

LOL..Dutchboy did an APS Extreme kit and FCON a while back with us. Did Dutchboy purchase an RSX without telling us? The RSX is faster, anyways.
