I need to take some measurments, but dont want to pull my motor just for that. I am installing a friends greddy kit in a few months, so I guess I will have to wait till then. Or I might put it on a lift and see what I can do.

I am aiming for 135 plus traps on high boost. Joe next weekend, I have no doubt your going to be just shy of 140 if not 140+. Dude is short shifting 1st, 2nd, and peddling third and trapping 129. DR's are on the way.
I know you can do it Joe! I think the turbo only trap speed record without nitrous is 134mph (never confirmed) by BigBri, and I am right behind him at 132mph.

I have no doubt you and eagle will be smashing those records.

Yep... I had an interesting experiance at the track to say the least on Friday night...

When I got there it was 91 deg out at about 5pm. Made a few runs and I HAVE TO USE DRAG TIRES to go anywhere now... Keep in mind the track was not preped at all, I was rolling out of the hole at 2000rpm, 2.4 60 foot, pedaling (about 50-75%) and short shifting 1st and 2nd gear. Ended up trapping 129 with a 12.9 ET! With the boost controller and meth kit turned off I ran a 12.7 @120, still spinning 1st and 2nd and a 2.2 60 foot.

Eagle is sending me his wheels and we will see what I can do then. I have a feeling that 275 wide 18" drag radials are not gonna hold either, but we will see!

I also could not figure out how to get the speed based boost map on the EVC 6, if anyone knows how to get that to work let me know!

It would be interesting if the VDC signal could be used to modulate throttle input to the ECU to completely eliminate wheelspin regardless of power levels. Does the FCON have an input that can function in this fashion if it fed the proper signals?

What happens to the stock VDC when you all spin your tires w/ the UTEC or FCON?

Nothing really.. Tires just keep smokin until you let off the gas... Only 'sometimes' VDC kicks in..

I talked to Sharif and he said when he pulled that 1.9 60ft the tires hooked all the way minus a chip here and there. Those where 305 these are 275 so we'll see. That would pretty dam cool to see a 140 trap.

We just need to find 17" wheels that fit over our BBKs then we can run MT E.T. Streets!

But hopefully I can get a 1.8-1.9 60ft with your tires. Just might have to play with how long I am on the 2 step so I don't roast them right off...

I doubt you can 2 step it off the line with weaksauce DR's that arent even that wide. Save that for the end of the day....BTW E.T. Streets are only available up to 16", ET STREET RADIALS are available in 17" sizes....huge difference with the bias ply vs radial sidewall.

Wow-I specifically remember looking last year and 16 X 27 or 28" was the largest we could possibly fit on our cars with some fender modification. Thats great, just need wheels like Joe said....

Those are the ones!!!! I have heard that mustang knock off wheels will fit... Just need to try them to see. Discount Tire has a 17x10.5 knock off wheel that would match up perfect if they will fit over the BBK...
