Thanks George...can't wait to see yours when its done! GTM and FP both understand, that a smooth dyno curve, without sharp peaks and valleys...is illustrative of a safe and happy engine...and zero knock.
+1 billion! It is ALL about a smooth power curve, this directly reflects how well a car will feel and carry its power. Its not just about peak numbers...

Again, excellent job Sharif, and I cannot wait for my G to be done as well, its currently in the body shop

Nice work as always Sharif. I love the gauge placement. Now if I could just get my gauges mounted like that with the OEM brushed aluminum dash.

How much torque did the car make. Why is the car only tuned to 500whp.Are you still breaking it in.Is that what the customer wants or is that all you could get from the kit.

Torque (ft-lb) = [Power (hp) * 5252] / RPM

I went a little further than that. 450whp-500whp on our dyno is MORE than enough to get the job done on any circuit course. The rest is left up to the setup, and the driver.

The customer didnt even want 500whp..he wanted 450whp. There is plenty more left in the kit. And remember that 500whp on our dyno, is about 550whp on a DynoJet.

My new setup is almost complete, with a bolt on 700bb kit, so I'll be maxing that one out..and seeing what the kit will do with higher boost.

Thank you all for the kind words. If it were not for you all on My350Z....I would not have met Sharif.

All I can say is Sharif and his staff left me and my local Infiniti Dealership speechless.

1) I am not going to come on here and say how good Sharif/Forged Performance is....Its already been done numerous times.

2) I am not going to talk about how much of a genius he is at tuning......Already been done.

3) Not going to talk about how good his customer service is either....we all know its the best.

I drove the car from Atlanta to Houston straight to the track. I did 30 hard laps and the Temp gauge did not go above 205. Car had ZERO issues!!! The only thing that failed was the brakes. At the 29th lap the brakes went soft. Sharif and I expected that to happen....burned pads out. For those of you that have never driven a G/Z with over 400hp....all I can say is OMG!!! I road race, so 400 to 500hp is more than enough. My boost controller has been in the off mode from day one. Sharif left it on by mistake and had me going side ways the first time I drove the car.

Took the car to the Infiniti Dealer for oil change.....The entire service department came to see the car...even the GM. They want the car for 30 days to keep in the showroom. The Chief Mechanic wanted to speak to Sharif, he was overly impressed with how clean and stock looking the work was. They get a lot of G's that were hacked up and the owners just wanted their cars back to stock or fixed. They said they have NEVER seen a car this clean that ran and idled like stock(thats before the boost comes on). They said that "this Sharif guy must be a Stickler for detail."

Sharif never once told me that he could not do something that I asked him to do. I told him I wanted EVERYTHING to look stock!!!! And as you can see....he did it. I told him I wanted the gauges installed like it would come from the factory....he said OK....the rest is history.

You are a class act Sharif ......thanks to you and your family (your Dad, Uncle, Sister and Sandy) for taking me out to dinner.....I had fun.

I will see you for the Race Map, higher boost, Plenum and Big Brakes after break-in.

For more pictures go here http://www.cardomain.com/ride/808731

SH Luciano .....Yes, the stock Brembo's will be for sale...

AboostedG ....You are correct...They are Maido Maya GR5 with custom center caps

FairLadyFever....I told Sharif I wanted 400 to 450rwhp...he gave me a little over 500 and when I ship it back to him he will tune it to a higher boost plus he will also do a race map.

Thanks....

Mike

Mike,

Just curious what coolant you used? Standard 50/50 mix? Evans NPG+?

Have you had some fun w/ Dr. Jitsu's Porsche yet?

Congrats again,
Raj

Yes Raj, I am using the Evans NPG+

If Dr. Jitsu wants to do a 10 or more lap race....I am always up to that...but I think he is more into street racing. He hangs out with the 1000hp people

Evans is the $hit!
I have the big Koyo upgraded fans, and Evans, I have never see my water temp above 189, and this is on a 100 degree day. my car runs soo cool.

XKR I saw your car in the stages of being built, and what a nice car you have there. Please keep us posted on your track days.

Damn XKR,

your review has me so convinced that it would be a crime NOT to take your car to Sharif and Forged Performance.

I get alot of PM's about the gauge set up. Sharif/Forged Performance has them. It cost me alot because it was the first...but the others that Sharif has should be less $$.

BTW.thx for the kind word
