Shabib67....
Its from the heart.... I purchased my car brand new in 2004 and I wanted it turboed the next day, but after all the horror stories...I just gave up. Then someone told me about Sharif. So I spoke to him on the phone for about 1:30 hours..then decided to fly out and meet him in person and to see what kind of work he does. I have been in this FI game for over 14 year from the days when I was with Pettit Racing.....so its hard to fool me. Sharif, Chris, Devon and Jeremy get along like they are best friends and not just his employees. Its crazy..you have to see it for yourself! This man is busy as ****..but yet he finds time to call his family to take me out to dinner
My car was given back to me CLEAN as I gave it to him. If you were not a G/Z person....you could not tell me that everything inside the car was not stock. If you ever want to check the car out...it will be returning to FP in a few weeks.....so feel free to check it out..

XKR I saw your car in the stages of being built, and what a nice car you have there. Please keep us posted on your track days.

On my Cardomain page... thats your car in the picture that Sharif and Chris is below looking up at
Thats a nice ride.I did 30 hard laps at the race track the same day I got back to Houston and the Water Temp stayed between 200 and 205 degrees. If it was stock...it would have over heated on the 3 lap....which would have prevented me from burning my brakes out
Stay safe with that Beast you have

Good luck

Congrats Mike! I saw your car on the lift when I was last there and quickly noticed the wheels as I used to have them. Your car looks awesome and sounds like another flawless install and tune from FP. The gauge install is perfect.
Good luck and be safe.

Just thought you G/Z guys would get a kick out of this......
I was invited to a Corvette Club Time attack event this past Sunday. Came first in the Modified bracket by 8 seconds. One of the ZO6 guys protested my win. So they sent my car to the garage for inspection
They were looking for some injection kit ( NOS ),because one of the flag guys said he heard spraying sounds on the back straight
THAT WAS THE BOV
They asked me AGAIN how much HP... I told them 444rwhp ( because thats what Sharif got on the DD dyno with controller off and 501 @ 14.5 psi). They protested again and said it had more. They hooked it up to the Dyno and to my fing surprise 558 rwhp at 564 tq @ 14.5 psi, But I ran it at 11psi. They disqualified me on the spot
I called Sharif a few seconds later, because I wanted to know if they are trying to screw me out of a win
But Sharif said it sounds about right. They want to disconnect my Boost Control and for me to repeat the runs.... or run in the Open Class with the Race prepped race cars...Yeah right
it aint worth $3000 and a trophy for me to let them disconnect anything on my car.
Has any one else gotten the kind of Dyno differences

They were a bunch of spoiled sports.
Your car runs 20 inch STREET tires, a simple suspension setup, full weight, power seats, and freakin stock brakes too...not even upgraded pads. I think they just suck at driving.
Most guys seem to get about 8-11% higher numbers on the DJ, so you differences seem about right.

Haha, that's great! As Sharif stated, that's about right if it was a Dynojet.
I'm curious as to what is the threshold to stay in the Modified bracket? Congrats on the win regardless.

These two links read pretty well
http://www.jumptronix.com/2g_go_fast...owOffValve.htm
The purpose of a blow off valve or compressor bypass valve is to prevent large pressure spikes in the intake pipes when the throttle plate is closed while boosting, preventing the turbo from surging. The BOV sits between the turbo and the throttle body and has a vacuum line that is attached to both the other side of the BOV valve and the intake manifold. When you are boosting the pressure on both sides of the valve is essentially equal because the pressure in the intake manifold is the same as in the intake pipes. When you close the throttle plate while boosting all that air slams into the plate and pressure spikes. At the same time the intake manifold pressure drops to a vacuum, and thus so does the pressure on the other side of the valve. The result is the valve opens wide to allow the pressure to vent out.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blowoff_valve
A compressor bypass valve (CBV) also known as a compressor relief valve is a vacuum-actuated valve designed to release pressure in the intake system of a turbocharged or centrifugally supercharged car when the throttle is lifted or closed. This air pressure is re-circulated back into the non-pressurized end of the intake (before the turbo) but after the mass airflow sensor.
A blowoff valve, (BOV, sometimes hooter valve, dump valve) does basically the same thing, but releases the air to the atmosphere. This creates a very distinctive sound desired by many who own turbocharged sports cars. Some blowoff valves are sold with trumpet shaped exits that amplify the "Psshhhh" sound, these designs are normally marketed towards the tuner crowd. For some owners this is the only reason to get a BOV. Motor sports governed by the FIA have made it illegal to vent unmuffled blowoff valves to the atmosphere. In the United States, Australia and Europe cars featuring unmuffled blowoff valves are illegal for street use.
