I saw your ZR at GT Motorsports as I delivered some injectors for my own Z.

It was parked outside- The guys were sitting all over it eating sammiches.

That big front mount intercooler is one that we built for VRT.So that is a good *** intercooler but the rest of the car is probably sh*t

 

i dont even wana hear S*** like that....my trust issues r a little on edge right now.......4 good reason!!!haha

 

Dozzer, did VRT build your engine ? I think they farms out the engine built to other companies so you should be ok there. My engine was VRT built and still pushing over 550whp.

BTW I came down to GTM today to check out your Veilside v3 rear and really like it, thanks.

 

yea they built it......im not sure if its even built tho...since they screwed me on this....how do i know my motor was touched??? im still waitin from sam 2 call me back...he has info on my car rite now...so....UPDATE COMMING!!

 

Don't worry, the guys ta GTM are very good and competent. I just hope they aren't side tracking my car to work on yours.

That sucks. I can't help but cringe everytime I see a thread like this, regardless of the shop involved. I hope GTM's inspection reveals that your motor is fine and that there are no major problems. I look forward to your update and wish for the best!

someone I "know" drove by the house this weekend and saw it on the lift. Sure enough Mike was there also, with his Ford "VRT" Truck parked outside. Pretty odd since he was supposed to have sold the company and million dollar house to his mechanic....

 

well here is the latest update straight from Sam, who might i add is operating at a very professional level, and im very pleased w/ the convo's that we have had.


It looks like the fear has come true, the pssanger side turbo appears to have not been replaced, and seems to be the same old one that was passing oil. So, now i will have 2 replace this turbo (for a second time) although i never recieved a new one in the 1st place. Also, it seems that VRT has dyslexia, because it seems that my fuel systems lines, and power steering lines were ran incorrectly, almost 2 the point of "How the hell is it even working".....Sam performed a compression and leakdown test, and it seems that my number 3 cylinder is having a heavy leak issue, so, the motor will be torn down to do a complete inspection. Here we will find out if the motor is even built like i paid for originally!!!! Sam said it should be a week before he has a complete knowing of what exactly has been, and has not been done....so thats the update as of right now fellas....a week and we shall know if i even have a built motor or not!!!!
