Default Little update on SP shop 350z TT

Just snapped a couple of pics of the new wheel setup, motor, etc..
Right now I'm waiting on my heads to come back from Dave at Headgames. We'll be running Ferrea goodies, +1mm, Brian Crower Stage 2 cams, and lots of porting Thanks to my buddy Dave at Headgames!

The rest of the motor is a stock disp 3.5l with the following
Darton Sleeves
Pauter Rods
Wiseco Pistons
ACL Bearings
ARP L19 headstuds
HKS headgaskets
ARP mains
Injected Billet Girdle

Turbo Setup
Our SP TT Kit (race version of the kit with large tube runners)
Twin sp67mm ball bearing turbo's

Drivetrain/Transmission
street 6spd (working on some upgrades )
also we'll have a 400 setup to go in the car

SP Upgraded Driveshaft
SP Stage 3 Axles

We're starting on the 8.50 cage in the next couple weeks

Wheels and tires
MT 275 Drag Radials
Weld Prostars 15x10

Hoosier front runners
Weld Prostars 15x4

The setup in the back is going to make us roll and pull the fenders a bit, which we'll do over the winter when the car gets custom paint.

Here is an picture of the wheel setup.
I'll use this thread to update with progress pictures

If I put a National 350z Event together in the Midwest would anyone be interested? I put together the Chicago Supra Event and thought about including a 350/G event in conjunction with. Thoughts?

Chris

We are using the upgraded pins, the same pistons have handled 1311rwhp in our Race Supra.
We'll be going for 1200rwhp on the Z.

How much are these upgraded pins? Are you using the same ringlands?
What are you going to be tuning this with??

I'll have to check when I'm back at the shop.

Using same ringlands.

We are using the AEM EMS we manufacture. ( I guess not many know about the setup we make for the 350z. It's a custom wiring harness we manufacture to mate to an AEM 1050 box, along with some internal board changes. It's an entire kit, including sensors, harness, ems, and base map)
This is the same setup we've used on our car when we made 529rwhp on stock block.

Why yes they do they are na brakes ofcourse, but they fit SOOOOO tight but no rubbing, no spacers, etc.. However you will have to roll the fenders, as they do stick out about 7/8"

backspacing is 6.5 and they are 15x10s

i notice the pic of the RPS clutch, how much power are you guys looking to make? the reason i ask is because i dont think RPS makes a clutch that supports more than 5-650 torque.
