I would definitely run an EVC and a boost gauge, but then again I wouldn't run a Knock Amp and a wideband AFR O2 meter.

Running my mouth??? Before you take another hypocritical post then I suggest you take a walk down memory lane:

I didn't ask you to defend your purchase. You chose to do that with the above e-thug statement. Let us know when you're running 30+ psi of boost... hopefully by "soon" you mean in the next few years. You can keep your defi gauge, I prefer functionality over bling and will be using my Blitz/AEM/SPA combo.

And no one asked you to depefend your digital gauges? If you like them then buy stock in them for all I care. Defi's do a very nice job at what they were designed to do....be a very good quality and accurate gauge.

Keep your digital gauges. I never stated that I didnt like them or think they were not a quailty peice. My statement about "*** the haterz" was to be taken as a joke, but I guess you missed that memo.

If your lucky enough ill tell you about my car in the next few months.

Again, fair enough. Sometimes sarcasm doesn't convey well on the web, as we all know.

I'm not defending my digital gauges in any way, they work and require no defense. People on here just tend to go with whatever everyone else tells them to do, and sometimes it leaves me wondering about this community in general.

If you are running 30psi then I definitely hope to hear about the car, that would be absolutely insane.

LOL, I will confirm this. I've been in Waterbury for a client. I'd say its almost on par with East Orange.

It's not perfect yet, in fact, I think this journey has a long way to go. But for a 20 year old guy in college, I'm pretty happy with it

JAMEZ, I'm glad you like your EVC VI, they look cool and I was told that they hold boost well when it comes time build the motor and turn up the boost, so I got one too. My build was done about 3 weeks ago and long story short I did something that jacked up the settings just after 2 days and now I'm running 5.5 psi(wastegate boost).

I called my installer (who is 4 hours away), read the manual(2 or 3 times) and then just started pushing buttons randomly. I guess between my ADD, OCD and eating all those paint chips as a kid I just coudnt get it. Yes Im not worthy. I must sell my twin turbo Z and get a VW beetle with hub cap spinners.

Sorry to go OT, Your Z looks GREAT.

yeah, for only having 3 buttons, the EVC is a little confusing at first.
