with a different intake manifold, the stock hood will close for sure. if it was boosted already then we would have a different one on there. NA the runner lengths will matter a lot, boost not as much.


the hood only doesnt shut by about 3 or 4 inches really. its not as bad as you think...

Except for the fact that I almost got taken out by the tranny it was alot of fun fitting that in yesterday. I love coming home on leave and doing mad scientist stuff! See you later in the week J.

quick Q! With the v8 havin almost 400whp are there any n/a mods for the titan motor? Or is it pretty much set... and boostin is the only way ta go for power gains?

the Titan VK56 has many upgrades for NA applications.

I know that the 5.6 in my 4x4 Titan hauls ***. I can't even imagine it in a Z or G chassis. It would be sick. 'Vette killer for sure

i posted this thread over on titantalk.com, since a lot of people there are interested in a twin-turbo setup for the VK.

Well, both Kel (he has his done) and soon Tecni will have TT VK's in their G35's. The VK seems to be a great platform for this swap. It's very temping to just go this route than a built twin turbo VQ.

surely is...

but i'm curious as to the cost of a VK swap into the G...if it's not an outrageous amount, i may have to go that route as well.
