Great job JT & PF Crew. Do the stock exhaust manifolds fit? If they did maybe you can route the piping like the Turbonetics kit does and throw an HKS T51R turbo on it. The sound is unmistakable and nasty! Can't wait to see it running.

not really, the ls2 has more power stock for stock and bolt on for bolt on
this is cheaper yes, but the lsx has more potential. they're making 500 ci small block lsx's now, thats 8.2 liters, a vk can't go nearly that big. a vk also can't make 700+ hp na either
yes its much cheaper for the vk, and given that jeremy figures out how to fit this under the stock hood (07), i'd much more likely get this based on price alone
not saying that this sucks and the lsx is the only way to go. just saying that this does not make the lsx swap obsolete, or anywhere near obsolete. i still think this (vk) is an awesome swap, and its much more realistic for me than an lsx swap would be

i'm assuming its way to early to hint at the price? if not, estimated prices are appreciated. look like it will come out to be much cheaper than an lsx swap

also, u mentioned making 400 whp/wtq na, is that bolt ons only or some internal work to?

This is cool because of all the possibilities it opens up. VK has limited support right now for internals, but if this swap becomes more commonplace, you'll see more support, which helps not only us, but the Titan community as well.
The engine has ridiculous potential. Look at what they were able to do with it for the CORR Titan
Given the proper research and development. I think a 450-500 whp NA VK56 is feasible for swap into our cars.

The Titan CORR Pro-2 entry features a 715-horsepower, 5.6-liter V8 stock block engine with 510 lb-ft of torque at 6,000 rpm, redlining at 8,200 rpm. Unlike many race engines, the block, cylinder heads, cam covers, water pump, main bearings, rod bearings, and ignition coils are all stock Titan components. The engine was prepared by Menards Engine Development.

we've all seen the vortech #'s off JT's titan, so those #s in a G would he HOTTTT!

People are more frequently pushing 600whp these days on non-sleeved VQ's. Open deck technology is getting better.
