OK....I guess I will be the first nuthugger to step forward...I use to support PF until I started getting the beatdown in PM...plus a bunch of horror stories.I will be the first to say i was wrong
I've been on the phone with Vinny going over some options. So far he's been a great help and very determined to get my car back on the road.
I'm considering going with his Stage 1 package, but right now he's checking to see what parts can still be retained. I've had a lot of **** going on at the office which has slowed things down a bit, but hopefully we'll have everything figured out soon.
+1, do I smell a sticky?

OP- Hope you get your car back up and running. Clean looking car man..
As bad as the vid from 2 years ago looks... I'm not gonna condemn JT for that one just yet. Like JZurita said, there was just too much doubt about The Shop and their possible role in the condition of that motor.
I'm more interested in seeing the vid from Saturday's teardown at VTR. This was JT's chance at a redo. Aside from attempting to cast blame on Jon for blowing up his own motor, there is no other shop that JT can use as a scapegoat.
Hurry up and post that vid!!!

I was a PF customer also. I never had a bad experience with PF/JT or my car. Sad to see this thread and what has become. My car ran perfect and i beat the **** out of it. Threads like this make me nervous about my build. i had sooooooooo much fun with the stock block im afraid i wont have as much fun with a built motor.
scary **** man.......

Jon, please take your time and use new parts. Otherwise, you will always live in doubt about whether or not I should have re-used those pistons, or rods, or whatever. Its worth the peace of mind to only use new parts on a complete rebuild.
Just my .02
Just my .02
Thats the story I hear from everyone that did an FI stock block setup with every shop with a bad name. Even the customers of MrS who have stock block FI say they no issues....Its the customers that get their motors build that usually have problems with blown motors ..then finding out that the parts they paid for were not installed. You were one of the lucky ones

Any shop can do bolt-ons. A stock block FI install isn't a true test of a shop's capabilities. I LOL and
when I see stock block customers being the most vocal nuthuggers and sh*t talkers for their shop as if their ~400whp stock block "build" is a testament to that shop's greatness.

Those guys used to gang up on unsatisfied customers and naysayers with the quickness. Where are they now?
