I hope that was just to make power on the dyno....

If it was being driven on the street like that on pure 93 octane you surely would be asking for trouble....those injectors must have been in the high 90% duty cycle...no telling what they were really flowing up at those levels. And I wonder what the fuel pressue looked like.

But perhaps you were running on a lower map setting. The UTEC is very convenient in that you can change fuel/tune maps relatively easy if you have a map selector.
Any input on that John?

Thanks man.

I wish I had more answers for everyone, but unfortunately, I know nothing thus far. I'm trailering my car to a reputable shop this weekend or next and bringing a video camera.

Put my car on the u-haul once, only to find out it was too low to open the doors once on the trailer and I had to crawl out the back hatch before one of my boys could get the video camera rolling.

Good Luck tomorrow.

No motor and a dead battery. It took several minutes to find the manual hatch release.

Haha, i had to climb out the window , then we look down at the fenders and there are rubber releases and hinges, undo two little rubber locks and the fender on the trailer swings right out of the way. It was dukes of hazard until we saw that.

Don't feel bad, those only work for normal cars, not dropped Z's, even with the wood under the front wheels. Mine still didn't clear by appx 1/2" or so, that was when the swearing really started mafter having to load the dead car in the dark with only the parking brake working since I had a caliper out for repair.

Pics and posts tonight are a must! I don't have the know how of some of the more experienced tech guys on here, but I know what busted up VQ's look like and what to look for now.

Climbing out of the Z through the window when on a UHAUL trailer FTW! I def did that when my POS blew up.

Im not getting into speculating or pointing fingers, but I will say good luck to J who now has a problem on his hands.

Dropped the car off at VTR this morning. Up since 5am and just set foot in the office. Traffic was an F'ing b!tch!

They are going to start working on it asap and record vids of the entire process. If necessary, it looks like the official block disassembly will be this Saturday.
